Generative authoring · TypeScript / React / Three.js

An experimental generative-authoring system in TypeScript, React, and Three.js. Models and people define the world, schemas validate and version it, and deterministic rules run the game while player progress stays private.

Explore the architecture

The authoring stack separates intent, validated schema, versioned world definitions, and deterministic runtime state so generated content can remain inspectable.

Builder,

Portrait of Nick Bryant

I’ve spent most of my career taking an idea and building the whole thing: the prototype, the product, and the team. Web, mobile, games, AR/VR, AI—I like learning what a hard problem needs and getting it working.

Right now I’m deep into agentic programming and generative worlds, trying to build things that weren’t practical a few years ago.

Denver / Boulder

Selected work

ARCOS / VN.AI

IP workflows · Next.js / Supabase / MongoDB / Redis / AWS

I led product engineering for IP management, permitted-use workflows, and content analysis. We connected roughly twenty model integrations and supported product pilots across the application and cloud stack.

Selected work

Procurement Sciences

B2B software · MERN / Python / FastAPI

I rebuilt an early Rails prototype as a MERN and Python/FastAPI product. I implemented the application, managed the engineering team, and hired the incoming CTO before the handoff.

Investing systems

Investing / syndication · Co-founder, now advisory

I built investing and syndication software, AI-assisted underwriting workflows, investor reporting, and marketing automation for SMB Investor Network and Search Fund Ventures. My current role is passive advisory work.

Engineering experience

Portrait of Nick Bryant

I’ve spent my career building dozens of products from the ground up across Web, Mobile, Games, AR, VR, and Algorithms. That includes building and launching 5+ consumer applications through a holding-company portfolio that reached nine-figure revenue scale.

I implement frontier research in production, from prototypes and technical architecture through team scaling. I’m looking for a larger mission and a strong engineering team where I can contribute directly and stay close to the code.

The Lower Worlds

Creator and engineer

Building an experimental fractal generative-authoring project in TypeScript, React, and Three.js. It combines procedural algorithms with structured model authorship, validates and versions world content, keeps adventure progress private to each player, and executes game rules deterministically.

  • The architecture separates generative world authorship from deterministic game execution.
  • Using Morrowind-like depth as a long-range north star while the current work remains experimental.
Illustration

ARCOS / VN.AI

Engineering lead

Led a three-engineer team building IP management, permitted-use workflows, and content analysis products. Integrated roughly twenty models and supported pilots across a modern application and cloud stack.

  • Worked across Next.js, Supabase, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, and serverless queues.
  • Balanced product discovery, architecture, integration work, and day-to-day team delivery.
Illustration

Procurement Sciences

Interim CTO

Rebuilt a Rails prototype as a MERN and Python/FastAPI product. Worked directly with the founder on interface design and user experience while managing delivery.

  • Established the product and technical foundation for the next phase of the company.
  • Recruited and hired the incoming CTO to carry the organization forward.
Illustration

SMB Investor Network / Search Fund Ventures

Co-founder (now advisory)

Built an investing and syndication platform, AI-assisted underwriting workflows, investor reporting, and marketing automation. Current commitments are passive advisory work.

  • Connected investor operations, analysis, reporting, and acquisition marketing in practical workflows.
  • Advise portfolio companies on technology implementation in traditional small businesses.
Illustration

Arcanium

Founder

Founded a development team-extension agency, built its engineering practice, and helped clients deliver software with embedded technical teams.

  • Created the operating model for placing and supporting engineers inside client work.
  • Handed management to a new team so the organization could continue beyond my direct leadership.

Interesting Inventions Inc

Technical Co-Founder · 2015–2020

Built and launched 5+ consumer applications through a holding-company portfolio during 2015–2020, reaching nine-figure revenue scale.

  • Led application, infrastructure, and game teams across real-time games, cryptographically verifiable gameplay, and cybersecurity defense.
  • Privately exited my ownership stake after scaling.
Illustration

SharpSpring

Engineer, then senior engineer · 2013–2015

Joined as an engineer and was promoted to senior engineer within a year. Worked on backend architecture, product integrations, and DevOps for the marketing automation platform.

  • Contributed across application services and the operational systems behind them.
  • Grew quickly into broader architectural and delivery responsibility.
